Seattle flight transfers on Delta - How long between flight times ?

I am flying into Seattle on Delta with an onwards flight to Vancouver.  My original flight times allowed a 2 hour gap between arrival and takeoff.  The flight times have changed and the gap is now 58 minutes (19:20 to 20:18).  Can I make the onwards flight?
My earlier flight is within the USA.  I will be in transit at Seattle so hopefully wont need to go through security.  Is US emigration and Canada immigration done at Seattle or at Vancouver? 

There's no outbound immigration checks from the US, Canadian immigration will be done on arrival in Vancouver. You'll remain airside in Seattle so you won't need to go through security. Assuming your inbound flight arrives roughly on time, 58 minutes is plenty of time.
