Business class upgrade across all flights?

Morning all,

A question for those frequent travellers - if I upgrade my economy flexi fare to business class using points, and I have 3 legs (CBR-LAX-YUL), do I get business class seats all the way? The LAX-YUL is with Air Canada.

Upgrades are per flight, so you'll need to upgrade each flight separately.

Your first flight CBR to SYD/MEL/BNE (wherever your LAX flight leaves from) will be around 4,900 points and should be easy to confirm.

Your second flight SYD/MEL/BNE to LAX is only upgradable with points if you're also a Velocity Gold/Platinum member. Otherwise you need to lodge a cash UpgradeMe Bid.

To the best of my knowledge, you can't upgrade the LAX-YUL leg through Virgin Australia.

I'm Velocity Gold - hence the reason I'm going to pay for the flexi fare. 45000 points is worth the upgrade.

The other fares only allow an upgrade to PE.

The Australia to LAX leg is well worth the upgrade, otherwise otherwise @bl5965 is spot on.

Good luck upgrading Australia to LAX - best I see, there are very, very few of these, even a year out.
