AMEX points transfer to Velocity via Krisflyer for 30% more?

Soon going to get 100,000 bonus off the explorer amex, am I wrong in thinking that transferring via krisflyer to velocity will net 30% more points? The transfer ratio for both is 3 to 4 so would get 75,000 krisflyer or velocity points transferring to each directly, however sending through krisflyer would then give you 30% more when subsequently transferring to velocity due to the value difference between the 2 programs (1.3/1) - is my thinking incorrect? Thanks in advance

Much as it would be wonderful if it worked that way, I'm afraid it doesn't.

You don’t get more points when transferring them between Velocity and KrisFlyer.

Transfer in any direction involves a ~26% tax (1 point for 1.35).
