Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has any tricks to somehow get velocity points out of flights with virgin atlantic and cathay pacific. I am flying with v.atlantic and cathay to europe and back and want to get velocity points out of them in some way if possible!

Velocity will grant you points for flights that are both marketed and operated by Virgin Atlantic.

No points available for flights that are either marketed or operated by Cathay.

You can earn Velocity points on Virgin Atlantic flights but not Cathay Pacific as Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia are part of the virgin group. However, Cathay pacific is part of the oneworld alliance of which Qantas is also a partner so you can earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points on the Cathay flight instead of velocity.

To earn Velocity points on Virgin Atlantic, just include your velocity membership details in your booking.

You can earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points or other oneworld airline FF programs (Asia Miles, etc) on Cathay Pacific. To do that, include your membership details in your booking with Cathay.
