Good morning all

I intend to redeem J on CX580 from HKG to Sapporo (New Chitose). For me, most important is to get a flat-bed on J. From a dummy booking on Qantas, the plane is supposed to be a B777-300. From CX website, there are 6 different types of B777-300, but only 4 are definitely flat-bed in J. From other research it seems that the flight could also be flown on a B777-200/200ER. It is not clear from CX website if B777-200 comes in flat-bed in J.
Could anyone out there with prior experience please enlighten?
Thank you.

All 772s only have Regional Business Class, which is an electronic recliner. No flat bed.

CX580 is usually operated by the regional 773 variant with the same seats. It is very rare to have a long-haul 777-300ER on this route.

You will almost never get a lie-flat J on this route. The high-density regional 777-300 is perhaps ideal for this route. If you are curious, make a dummy booking on the CX site, then you can see the seat plan. However, even if miraculously the seating plan shows long-haul J, they reserve the right to deploy a regional J at the end.
