Best Day of the Week to Fly on Sydney-Dallas for a business class upgrade

Hi All,

Looking for some help from the community, I am heading to Dallas in July flying Qantas Premium Economy, what day do you think gives the best chance for a points upgrade to business? Was thinking Wednesday or Thursday but having never flown the route to Dallas before not sure.

Wednesday or Thursday is about right. The Dallas flight has Begenerous to me on upgrades to PE on Fridays as well.

I flew out on a Sunday earlier this month and was upgraded - QF Gold, from PE to Biz

I've had a pretty good success with upgrades to J on most days outside of school holidays. I've had upgrades from economy while platinum, gold and even silver status. Good luck.
