Hi all, Has anyone used their Qatar Qcredits to upgrade themselves and their partner on a single ticket or is it only for the Qcredits holder?
I was thinking it could be a nice boost for the last leg of our journey but if its only for the Qcredits holder it might be worth saving for a solo trip.
Award upgrades: Redeem your Qcredits to receive cabin upgrades on Qatar Airways flights. Award upgrades apply to single-level upgrades (Economy to Business Class or Business to First Class) or for upgrades from Economy to First Class, where Business Class is not operated on the flight.
Qpoints upgrades Terms and Conditions section per Qatar's Website:
“Main member and guest must be travelling on flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways. Guest's flight must depart within three hours from that of the main member. Does not grant access to premium lounges unless holding a premium ticket. Lounge entry is subject to capacity restrictions”
My advice use them as soon as possible. On key routes it can be very hard to redeem. However if you enjoy Qatar Airways service you might want to save it for yourself. Good luck.
