User Functionality: Search Previously Lodged Articles

I was looking for a particular post that I lodged some 7-8 months ago. I notice that when looking at my own profile, only the last 5 posts are now revealed.

For some that post regularly on ET, this 5 post search result may simply return the posts from the current or previous 1 or 2 days.

I note that the old ABT layout software allowed a user to see / retrieve ALL their previous posts from point of joining the site. Now we are seemingly restricted to last 5 only.

Is there any way or setting that is available to allow a slightly more 'generous' view of our previous posts? To me, it seems that 5 is too meagre.

I wouldn't imagine that the search / retrieval function for previous posts would consume a great deal of resources and in reality, is used fairly infrequently - however, it would be a moderately useful option for some of us.
