I searched for Chennai (India)
to Darwin flights on Sri Lankan Airlines website for travel on 3rd
February, but get this message: There are no flights available or there is
no availability on the requested flights on the date(s) you have selected.
Please select alternate dates and try again. (66002 [866])
When I searched for flights on Sri
Lankan Airlines and Jetstar websites separately, can see
flights are available for the same travel date: Chennai to Singapore via Colombo in Sri Lankan Airlines (UL122 and UL308) and Singapore to Darwin in Jetstar Asia (3k161).
I am not sure why the flights are not showing up on Sri Lankan Airlines website despite the airline having codeshare arrangement with Jetstar Asia. Can someone please help me, what might be the issue?
Secondly, if two airlines have
codeshare arrangement, we don’t have to clear immigration and collect bags on
transit countries?
If you don’t want to collect your bags in Singapore, book the flights on one ticket (doesn’t have to be a codeshare).
You can indeed buy that ticket with a Sri Lankan airlines code at a third party, though it is cheaper if you buy it on one ticket without a codeshare. Have a look on Skyscanner, should see it no problems.

I suspect their website just sucks.
