DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton London: Islington opens its doors

The DoubleTree by Hilton London: Islington has opened its doors to become the 10th DoubleTree hotel in the London area.

Guests enjoy the signature DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie when arriving at the newly-renovated hotel, which currently has 229 modern guestrooms.

From 1st October, that jumps to 372 rooms – with the hotel adding 66 Deluxe rooms, 43 Executive rooms and 34 standard rooms following substantial extension works.

Located amidst the heart of fashionable Islington in the U.K. capital and only 300m from the Angel Tube station, the property is just a short ride from King’s Cross station, Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus, with international high-speed Eurostar connections available at St. Pancras:

Its location also grants easy access to London's major attractions including Buckingham Palace, the National Gallery, British Museum, the West End theatre district and the city's world-class shopping areas, including Oxford Street, Bond Street and department stores Harrods and Selfridges.

The trendy district of Islington boasts a number of specialty boutiques, a vibrant arts scene and popular restaurants and bars, plus the well-known Emirates Stadium.

Business travellers can make use over 3,200 square feet of meeting space, a fitness suite, a 24-hour business centre, free hotel-wide Wi-Fi, an Executive Lounge...

Meals are served in The Grill Restaurant – a full-service eatery with a wide menu of contemporary options, grill specialties and all day dining.

Members of the Hilton HHonors loyalty program can earn and redeem points at the hotel, with Gold and Diamond members enjoying perks such as free room upgrades and breakfast.

Diamond-level members can also use the hotel’s Executive Lounge regardless of the room type booked or received.

The DoubleTree by Hilton London: Islington will also be joined in the capital by the Conrad London Westminster from September, with offers similar perks to HHonors elite members.
