If you happen to be thinking about trading in your creaky old Learjet for more of an Air Force One lifestyle, Airbus has just the thing.

The French aircraft giant promises you'll be able to have the comfort of home and office in one super-sized executive jet, actually based on a commercial A318 airliner - pictured below.

The $62 million Airbus ACJ318 will be available for "very very important person (VVIP)" charter through Comlux and features enough floor space to have an office Christmas party in, plus some very comfortable-looking armchairs.

It has a cabin floorspace of 75 square metres, similar to a reasonable size house or apartment.

Airbus says the living/office area converts to a bedroom, and there are two "spacious bathrooms", giving passengers a ride that is comfortable and practical, as well as productive and relaxing.

The jet can go anywhere in the world with just one refuelling stop given it's not airlifting the normal commercial airline load of 100 passengers.

Airbus offers corporate jets from the Airbus ACJ318 all the way up to the ACJ380, which, as the name suggests, is an impossibly lavish private version of the A380.
