Los Angeles will gain its first Hotel Indigo property with the opening of the Hotel Indigo Downtown Los Angeles hotel by the end of next year.

Tied to the InterContinental Hotels Group and IHG Rewards Club, the 18-storey, 350-room hotel is part of a larger billion dollar development dubbed ‘Metropolis’, also featuring three residential towers and retail shopping.

Nearby the Financial District and Los Angeles Convention Centre, business travellers can get the job done during the day before venturing to the nearby Nokia Theatre, the Staples Centre and L.A. Live in their downtime.

Focussing on its neighbourhood and surroundings, the hotel’s in-house restaurant and bar will serve up locally-sourced food and drinks, while the architecture of the hotel itself will take a page from local trends and culture.

Members of IHG Rewards Club can enjoy their usual perks when staying at the Hotel Indigo Downtown Los Angeles hotel including free Internet access, space-available room upgrades and the ability to earn and redeem IHG Rewards Club points.
