Hotel Indigo Paris - Opera opens in France

Travellers to the City of Light can now stay and earn IHG Rewards Club points at the new 57-room Hotel Indigo Paris - Opera property.

Situated in the elegant Opera quarter of Paris – the heart of the capital’s entertainment district – the hotel is surrounded by theatres, music halls and opera houses including Palais Garnier, which inspired Gaston Leroux’s widely-known tale ‘The Phantom of the Opera’.

All of the rooms, including the property’s 12 suites, come with free wireless Internet and employ three different murals – ‘opera’, ‘ballet’ and ‘behind the scenes’.

In the public areas, you’ll find three murals of Opéra Comédie at Place de la Comédie, with hints of purples, grey-blues and gold throughout the space to reflect the artwork.

In addition, the guest room corridors feature black and white pictures and murals of streets in the local surrounding neighbourhood.

While the concept of ‘tartare’ is new to the local neighbourhood, Tartares Restaurant serves it up as a currently-unique offering for both the local community and also hotel guests.

In true French style, there’s also a wine bar and lounge on the ground floor (below), plus a small gym with a treadmill, two exercise bikes and a multi-station weights unit.

While there’s no business centre or executive lounge, the hotel’s reception staff can provide business and secretarial services such as printing, copying and facsimile transition at an extra charge.

Themed around the individuality of a boutique hotel, Hotel Indigo comes with the benefits and reassurance and backing of a big hotel company – not to mention IHG Rewards Club points for business travellers.
