Singapore travellers will have a choice of InterContinental hotels come 2016 with the opening of the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay property.
Located along the prominent Singapore River, the 225-room hotel is part of RB Capital’s Robertson Quay Project – rejuvenating the area into a vibrant riverfront destination for both tourists and residents.
When complete, the new luxury hotel will sit atop a mixed use development space comprising restaurants, bars and lifestyle retail outlets, while also sitting close to the world-renowned Orchard Road shopping area, the heritage district of Chinatown and the city-state’s CBD.
Guest rooms will have a contemporary design and offer views of the Singapore River and city skyline, while the ground floor lobby will also include a flagship restaurant, with the main reception desks on level four.
Business travellers can make use of meeting rooms, function space, a Club Lounge, and in their spare time, a swimming pool and bar.
IHG currently has six hotels across four brands in Singapore: the InterContinental Singapore, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre, Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium, Holiday Inn Express Singapore Orchard Road and Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay.
Members of IHG Rewards Club will be able to earn and redeem points at the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay hotel.
