New Pullman business-class hotels in Europe for Munich, Eindhoven

Business travellers have two extra decent hotel options with the opening of Pullman hotels in Munich and Eindhoven, two key European business destinations.

Pullman is the upscale business brand from Accor, home to Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure and several other brands on the budget end of the scale.

If you've taken advantage of the frequent immediate Platinum status deals with Accor's A|Club loyalty program (here's the most recent), you'll be able to benefit from late checkout, guaranteed availability and a room upgrade if available.

Pullman Munich, Schwabing

The Pullman in Munich is located in the Schwabing district to the north-eat of the city centre, near the Nordfriedhof U-bahn metro station.

That places it in a very convenient spot if you're jumping in a cab from Munich Airport, since it's just at the end of the A9 autobahn.

On offer are 331 rooms, including 24 suites, plus the Pullman Co-Meeting conference and meeting service spread over five conference rooms.

You'll want to check that the facilities you're expecting are available, though, since the hotel is being fully refurbished by the wonderfully named German interior designer Cornelia Markus-Diedenhofen between now and August.

Pullman Eindhoven Cocagne

Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, the nameplate on the old Dorint Sofitel Cocagne in Eindhoven has changed to Pullman.

Now called the Pullman Eindhoven Cocagne and located in the centre of town, the hotel has 320 rooms (including 20 suites and 43 apartments) plus eighteen modular meeting rooms.

Business travellers will find the free wifi across the hotel and Nespresso coffee machines a real plus, and a Microsoft-sponsored Connectivity Lounge is available to work and to get those last minute documents (or boarding passes) printed.
