Earn Cathay Pacific Asia Miles on Uber rides
Now you can pocket up to 40 Asia Miles with Uber Taxi trips in Hong Kong.
Your next visit to Hong Kong could unlock hundreds of Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, thanks to a new partnership between the Asian rewards mega-currency and Uber Taxi.
Users can earn 20 Asia Miles on every Uber Taxi trip within Hong Kong, or 40 Asia Miles on rides to and from Hong Kong International Airport.
As a sweetener, first-time Uber app users get 500 extra Asia Miles on their first Uber Taxi trip.
Uber is also planning bonus miles and limited-time offers for Cathay members.
To get started, link your Cathay membership account in the Uber app by navigating to the Account section, selecting Rewards – Cathay from the options, and then signing into your Cathay membership.

Another easy way to earn Asia Miles is through Passport Rewards – in fact, you don’t even need to be in Hong Kong.
Passport Rewards enables members to earn Passport Points when shopping online with over 300 retail partners in Australia alone: among them Woolworths, BWS, Myer, Bing Lee, Big W, Virgin Australia, Guess, Breville, Puma, Lenovo, and many more.

Your Passport Points can then be exchanged for Asia Miles, unlocking a seamless way to boost your Asia Miles account balance through everyday shopping.
And with up to four Passport Points per dollar spent, those points – and subsequently Asia Miles – will mount up fast.
There’s also an innovative Passport Points Accelerator, which lets members multiply their monthly haul of points by anywhere from 2x to 12x (at highly competitive cost-per-point rates).
Cap off a high-spend, high-activity month by activating the Passport Points Accelerator and you’ll send your points balance soaring, so that you can reach your transfer or redemption goals faster.
