The shores of Perth's Swan River will soon play home to another high-end hotel, with the Ritz-Carlton Perth set to open on November 15 2019.
Located in the Elizabeth Quay precinct – a relatively new waterfront development on the edge of Perth's CBD – the property is angling to become a new destination for business travellers and leisure seekers alike. Key Perth City attractions, such as Kings Park, will be just a short drive from the hotel.
There are 205 luxurious guestrooms including 18 elegant suites.
The jewel of the hotel is, of course, the Ritz-Carlton Suite – measuring 277 sqm with an outdoor balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing sweeping views of the city and Swan River.
Guests staying in Club rooms can relax in the Ritz-Carlton Club on the 6th floor, which will have a concierge, food and an outdoor alfresco area that is sure to be popular on balmy Perth summer evenings.
Non-hotel guests can still enjoy dining at one of the hotel's two yet-unnamed food and beverage menus, which are to be led by a 'celebrated local Executive Chef'.
The rooftop bar is also slated to be a popular destination to sip on cocktails and small bites while taking in the sunset.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa will feature an outdoor heated infinity pool, four treatment rooms, saunas, a private yoga studio and two outdoor heated vitality pools with massage jets.
Finally, business guests have use of more than 2000 sqm of meeting and event spaces, including the signature 550 sqm Elizabeth Quay Ballroom with natural light and views of the Perth City skyline.
The Ritz-Carlton Perth is part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, so members can earn and redeem points for stays.
As a Category 7 hotel, a standard room reward will command 60,000 Marriott points per night, although this may vary from 50,000 to 70,000 points when peak and off-peak rates are introduced.
