Starwood opens Aloft Boston Seaport, Element Boston Seaport hotels

Directly across the road from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre stands two new Starwood hotels: the Aloft Boston Seaport and the co-located Element Boston Seaport, now open to travellers and less than five kilometres from Boston’s Logan International Airport.

With the Aloft boasting 330 rooms and a further 180 rooms at the Element on D Street, cost-conscious convention-goers can cut down on their taxi and public transport spend simply by walking to and from their events and the city’s charming Seaport District in their downtime.

Both hotels offer fast and free WiFi, on-site fitness centres, swimming pools and meeting spaces, while Aloft features ‘re:fuel’, a grab and go food and beverage area for travellers on the move, plus the brand’s signature W XYZ cocktail bar and lounge.

Local bands and emerging artists can also be spotted performing in the lobby during the Live at Aloft Hotels concert series, while the Element comes complete with fully-equipped kitchens in the rooms (below) and a complimentary ‘Bikes to Borrow’ program encouraging guests to explore the local area.

“The new Aloft and Element hotels will help meet the rising demand for stylish, high-calibre lodging generated by the Boston Convention & Exhibition Centre and the Seaport District,” said Andrew Holm, Managing Director of hotel equity owner Ares Real Estate Group.

“The opening of these sleek, new hotels also enhances Boston’s appeal as one of the country’s leading convention cities,” he added.

Guests staying at either hotel can earn and redeem Starpoints via the Starwood Preferred Guest loyalty program, with Gold and Platinum enjoying perks such as a welcome gift and late check-out, although free room upgrades for SPG members aren’t offered at these brands.
