I do not understand why the consumer is letting Qantas get away with such a slimmed-down product. There is little space in the economy and insufficient toilets. Yes, these plans are practically identical to the cabin experience with American. It just reinforces that flying is just transport.

Connection timing is not great. You need to break the journey or wait a day at the airport if you take the night flight from Sydney. I find KL a drag of an airport. 

Border force are super slow in achieving this innovation. They need to be held much more accountable for their inaction!

We flew SIN-MEL on this ageing 20yo aircraft overnight. I was surprised by the lack of toilets. There was ONE. On approach to MEL everybody jumped up to change from pyjamas to civvies. Great stress for some. Who needs such an under-equiped aircraft! Cut to the bone and food offering downgraded.Qa...

Just flew the 787-9 and 787-10. Seats cramped. Crew unfriendly and dismissive of your simple request e.g. a spoon for the laska!. Never flying again!
