One long haul flight on the 777 or A350 with the tiny foot cubby hole many years ago was enough for me to swear off SIA for ever.  A real shame as they were my favourite airline and I'd been flying with them for decades.  I still wonder how any aircraft designer could even dream up such...

Why pay business class when you have to either sit bolt upright or lie flat?  For anyone with back problems, this is pure hell.  Similar to the SIA aircraft with the offset foot alcove.  It seems comfort is the last consideration lately when it comes to seating design.
