I wonder when the likes of Cathay will update their mileage earning charts, they're starting to cut it a bit close, considering people often book travel months in advance and Oneworld carriers are notorious for giving 0% miles for many of the lower fare classes.

It's great to see JFK go from the biggest dump in North American to an actual world class airport. I remember queuing on the street to check in at Delta's old T2/3, only to then be greeted by swallows nesting in the airside roof. LAX was similarly dilapidated but has had every terminal fully reno...
