Flying AIR NZ long hauls, specifically on the 777-200, anyone used the sky couches, or had luck booking two of the three seats, and getting it with middle empty? without paying the extra.

Yeh wotif isnt the greatest but its 5 star paris end hotel, seemsto be the stamford; which is certianly at the cheaper end of the 5star range, but for $140 a night you cant complain.  I have used hotwire before in vegas, and wasnt bad. But its melbourne list seems pretty poor. You click...

Anyone had any lucky with mystery hotel bookings in Melbourne, is it worth the punt? Need help deciphering the 5star options.

Seems to be AKL , Yeh Qantas are doing there seasonal flights again, however seems to be only for summer period and then nov-late jan, so flying outside those times its no good!
