Hardly worth the effort is it, aren't we all supposed to be avoiding air to save the planet? Start cashing in those frequent flyer points, you'll be a social pariah if you fly soon apparently.

I've not flown S7, but have Aeroflot and equally as good business class and agree with DrSK, much better than most US airlines. Shall try them next time. The Russians also have such cute uniforms too.

It never went away. I can afford the tickets and so I pay for it. If that makes me silly or whatever, I don't care. I enjoy my flights and all that goes with them.

Doesn't matter what they do, there is still only 1 1/2 lanes to T1. Every weekend the traffic report describes traffic at a standstill. Don't fly on weekends! And why is Sydney Airport the only one in the world that doesn't have airline names out the front? Drivers have no idea where to drop peop...

I'm very happy to enjoy my inflight meals. Never had a problem. Some are better than others but overall, pretty good. Singapore and Garuda are amongst the best, in my view.

I'll still stick with Singair, Suite Class to Paris for $500.00 & 112,000 points is a pretty good deal as far as I'm concerned.

I'd suggest you join Krisflyer, transfer your points and fly Singapore Airlines. Requires a lot less points at the end of the day in my experience.

From my experience Alitalia does not give you SC or Velocity points. Atleast, it didn't when I flew from Abu Dhabi to Milan and back last September.
