Wow, those rates value your 'valuable' Qantas Frequent Flyer Points at 0.64 cents each. Even less than the 0.78 cents when you use then for "Points + Pay" for flights.

You shouldn't be approaching LAN for comment, it's Qantas Frequent 'Flyer' you should be approaching. As they continue morphing into a shopping rewards program which they can mine for data, your flying on partner airlines is less important to them and they are aligning it to the 'generous' rates ...

Agree with smit0847 - Qantas 'Points' are worth too little and continually devalued to let yourself be locked into a direct earn credit card situation. It is inaccurate to say that Skyteam is the smallest of the alliance trio. On metrics such as member numbers, countries and destinations covered, fleet size and passenger numbers, oneworld is by far the smallest of the trio.
