• A couple of years ago we flew SYD-Broken Hill via Mildura on the Saab 340. There was an extremely strong headwind and it took almost three hours to get to Mildura (a very bumpy flight), followed by re-fueling then a short flight up to Broken Hill. I've never been so glad to get off an aircraft.

    I'd like to add that the new facilities for families in the tower wing are incredible. Two of the lower levels have suites especially designed for families with themed children's rooms.   • I always thought it was a silly decision to have only one J class toilet on these planes. My last A332 flight was SYD-MEL and even on such a short flight there were three J pax queuing to use the one toilet.

  • EY or SQ A380 Business LHR > SYD?

    The Etihad A380 is excellent in terms of hard product in business and probably better than SQ (have SQ installed their latest seats on the A380?)Personally I would go SQ as I have found their in-flight service to be more consistent. I am not a big fan of the ME3 airlines.
