one word stands out that would make all the difference - 'cradle'. forgot those silly bunk beds - offer a wraparound seat like a hammock or cocoon that actually cradles people and supports them in their sleep. do that in economy and a more souped up version in Premium Econ and they will sell out ...

The Qantas website still says that paper/digital comp passes to Melbourne aren't usable, so just wondering where you got the info that these are now usable outside of peak time? Hope this is the case!
