I will fly ana or jal until qantas resumes nyc service. The connection in lax is too risky. 

My wife and I have > $12,000+ credit for business class NYC to BNE. Must be tens of thousands like us. I worry about Qantas's balance sheet not its P&L.

Well, my wife and I were leaving New York in 10 days for our annual trip to Brisbane. $12,000 for two business class tickets. Now we are hoping for July 2021, but that may be a pipedream. The new 787 premium economy sounds much worse than the existing, adequate, 747 premium, which has comfortable seats with ample leg room, a dedicated lavatory, and access to the snack bar. I will fly ANZ, Air Canada, or Cathay until they resolve the situation.
