It essentially does as passengers have to pre-book a space in a managed isolation and quarantine facility before they book a flight. MIQ is essentially booked up till April.

I found it really pleasant. There were only 7 people that came into the Lounge when we were there (including us 2). There were 2 staff, service was attentive. It looks like the new VA Lounge is open or almost open in Wellington. Went through two weeks ago and the entrance door was covered. Now it's looking like this. I go through again on Good Friday so hopefully I'll get to check it out.

I've always found the VA economy product to LA and Hong Kong really decent, especially if you can get Economy X.
