My first ever peated whisky was Octomore 07.2. OMG what an explosion! Set the bar so high everything else is lolly water. As Aussie Bill says, best with a drop or two of water. Since then I've been on a taste driven hunt to find a worthy competitor... best value for money so far is Laphroaig quar...
