• If I bring a family member over from Sydney to London/Edinburgh, will they need to quarantine here? I don't mean to sound stupid but the rules seem to change by the minute and I can't keep up.  All comments welcome.

  • Any ideas on how long this overseas travel ban will last? I'm an Australian living in Scotland and a family member is hoping to over later in the year, SYD-EDI.

  • My favourite ride from LAX to BNE was on the Qantas 747. I usually managed to score the exit row in the upper Business class which was quiet and felt exclusive. Yes, the 747 was a big hulking bird and there were many times when we were thundering and galumphing down the runway and I would think, ...

  • I see the issue. I only transfer within Paddington, usually connecting to the Victoria or Circle Lines, and never exit at street level. I may have to try that and grab a black cab, although it sort of defeats the purpose of staying out of traffic.

  • We are Australians, now retired, living in Scotland. I use the Ziploc bags for frequently-used currencies. Tend to toss the silver coins, or from a place I may not get to again, into the charity bins or bags. Funny thing is that while Scotland widely accepts English notes, the English don't n...

  • I'm an Australian now living in Edinburgh and sadly too familiar with Heathrow. The lounge in T5 is simply unfriendly. Too crowded and not zoned properly; the "flow" is awful. I think it was designed by someone who never had to sit for more than two hours in a lounge. However, heaps of power pl...

  • The last time I flew BA you exited the window seat without having to climb over your seatmate because the seats are forward/back facing. Has that changed?
