I use the GoCatch app which calls me a regular cab and using the app I can see if someone has 'caught' the booking and it shows them on the map as they travel to pick me up. These tend to be the better cab drivers because they have to sign up separately for GoCatch and it's a different fee struct...

Some of the airports have got wise to this and the infloor power points (the ones with the little flap on top so they sit flush with the flooring) are locked!  It looks like they need a customised version of an Allen key to open them. This was, I think, in Brisbane Qantas public area.  .

For me, sadly, this is probably the end of flying Qantas.  I tend to fly solo when going to Europe so flying through the Middle East isn't an option for me.  It's not a place that a woman alone would want to find herself stranded.  And this is the voice of experience ... I did get ...
