Loved the 787 in PE last week, but no wifi compared to my a330 return. It may sway my decision next time not to fly the Dreamliner.

Can tell the wifi is being hammered these days. Four flights in the last month and it’s nowhere near as fast as it used to be and there is a lot time spent buffering.Great news about the IFE supplier updates. I miss the days of channel 9 providing the news. Partnering with Sky was a mistake.

No problems keeping the QF club in Melbourne closed - I for one hope it doesn’t reopen again. That refurb was terrible, but the Business side was awesome!

Was in the Melbourne business lounge a few days ago and the QF club was closed. Business lounge was absolutely packed and people looking for spaces to sit. I'd imagine that won't be the case for too long though.

Melbourne has a maximum of 75 people seated indoors. Based on that I’d say it’s not able to re-open just yet.

Returning tonight on a flight, and something struck me as really rude. The passenger a few seats away was watching their iPad with no headphones. Just plain old speakers turned upon front while he watched his show. (FYI Row 4, so I assume they are a very regular traveller, not some holiday maker)...

Perhaps Australia (and NZ) is just too small for two domestic airlines to operate profitably and sustainably? How do you overcome that in my view? Open the skies to finally allow domestic operations and terminals between Aus and NZ, and allow both airlines to operate as domestic flights in each co...
