• Ok, so here goes… I live 45 minutes to WSI, or 60 mins to KSI. My nearest train is a 20 minute drive away, not unusual in this part of Sydney. If I want to fly for more than an overnight trip, what do I do? Drive to a train station and leave my car in a public car park? No way! Catch ...

  • I think the demand is being majorly underestimated. Embraer, 5 of them, QF Link, no mainline, really? The lack of public transport is a misnomer. People in the west don’t have great public transport links anyway so would more likely drive and park at the airport anyway.

  • Loved the 787 in PE last week, but no wifi compared to my a330 return. It may sway my decision next time not to fly the Dreamliner.

  • Can tell the wifi is being hammered these days. Four flights in the last month and it’s nowhere near as fast as it used to be and there is a lot time spent buffering.Great news about the IFE supplier updates. I miss the days of channel 9 providing the news. Partnering with Sky was a mistake.

  • No problems keeping the QF club in Melbourne closed - I for one hope it doesn’t reopen again. That refurb was terrible, but the Business side was awesome!

  • Thanks Clancy, I tried all kinds of devices. Phones and computers - two different browsers, private windows, various times of day and night too.It just seemed to come good after lunch today. All good now, I have the confirmation email too 👍

  • It took me about 50 clicks of the ‘try again’ button but just after lunch today the site accepted my registration.Seems to be a technical issue on their website

  • I have been trying for days to register but keep getting the message saying they have technical difficulties and to try again.Doesn't change if I use a different browser or computer or phone.I also didn't receive an email about the offer.I really don't want to make a call, any further suggestions?

  • David - +1 for not turning off comments so often. Quite often I see articles where I'd like to say something, but comments are turned off. It now means I visit your site much less than I used to. I've gone from maybe weekly reading to perhaps once a month?

  • Melbourne has a maximum of 75 people seated indoors. Based on that I’d say it’s not able to re-open just yet.
