Just wondering, it mentions the economy class seats are 17' wide, is that narrower than normal a330's. I thought 17' was the tight size on 787's?

Recently had a short 4 hr flight on the 787 and was not impressed by the narrow and uncomfortable seats, they are truely average at best and certainly detracts from the overall experience. My experience is that a380's seem to have a more comfortable interior closely followed by the 77...

I have recently spend a short 4hrs on the dreamliner from Auckland NZ to Melbourne AUST and have to say I was underwhelmed by the experience. The ambience of the aircraft was no better than any other new aircraft - read a330, there was no mood lighting and certainly no star lit ceilin...

I suppose the seat on the 787 will only be an inch or so narrower than those on the A330 but when flying "sardine class" every little bit of real estate counts. I have flown 9 abreast on an A330 with AirAsia and will not be repeating that any time soon no matter how cheap the fli...

Unfortunately it would seem all airlines will be going to 9 abreast, correct me if I'm wrong but will this make each seat width narrower than those on a A330? I understand a 787 is only some 6inches or so wider than an A330 and will be carrying an extra seat in this slightly wider cab...
