I might be wrong, but I think it has to do with the Pod design - 11" is the maximum. Where as newer designs have 15" + minimum for J.

I read somewhere that the centre bins will not be installed on any aircraft in J. Can't find the source at the moment though.

It's quite interesting to me that Virgin Atlantic manages to fit 1-2-1 in its 330s but Air New Zealand can only fit 1-1-1 in a wider frame. I also would have liked to see a new J seat like CXs, which AC is adding to their dreamliners, and they manage 4 abreast vs. ANZ's 3.

I'm biased (because I've lived in the 2 other major Canadian cities), but I would stay downtown, closer to the UofT campus. It's closer to the 'centre' of Toronto and has better access to shopping and attractions - which you will appreciate when its -20C and snowing heavily. In my opinion, the W...

Currently unknown. AC is expected to begin retrofiting its 2-class 777s in the future to the 787-esque cabins, but a timeframe is unknown at this point.
