Qantas delays restart of San Francisco flights until October
May 17, 2022, 01:05 PMRestate number 4 now.....meanwhile United and the likes of FJ get the market handed to them. Travelling via LAX isn't a suitable alternative - I also don't have any connecting flight LAXSFO booked. What a poor way to treat that route.

Feb 16, 2022, 11:10 AMI can't believe QF don't believe the SFO demand is there to only start SYD in late July and not have any plans to resume MEL. The market has been handed to UA on a platter.

Qantas to restart Brisbane-Los Angeles flights this week
Aug 26, 2021, 03:49 PMThe 330 fleet was particularly unreliable before Covid. Working the aircraft too hard didn't help but their engineering reliability was poor when they were being flown very hard. I hope they don't have the same issues when they are flying longer.

Whatever...

Qantas redemption seats on a Boeing 787 delivery flight?
May 13, 2019, 02:46 PMIt won't happen - a delivery is a moving flight and can change very frequently in the last week. All sorts of things can go wrong and they also want to get the aircraft to Australia as soon as possible to do pre-service modifications so it can go into service. The fleet doesn't have the slack it ...

Qantas drops flight tracker from 747 IFE
Sep 07, 2017, 01:41 PMI flew at the end of July and beginning of August and it was the same problem - OEH one way, OJU back, so it has nothing to do with the older 747s. The fact it is the same on the 737s adds weight. Ironically I flew OJM in July and it still had the classic flight map - and it was the most ent...
