Restate number 4 now.....meanwhile United and the likes of FJ get the market handed to them. Travelling via LAX isn't a suitable alternative - I also don't have any connecting flight LAXSFO booked. What a poor way to treat that route.

I can't believe QF don't believe the SFO demand is there to only start SYD in late July and not have any plans to resume MEL. The market has been handed to UA on a platter.

The 330 fleet was particularly unreliable before Covid. Working the aircraft too hard didn't help but their engineering reliability was poor when they were being flown very hard. I hope they don't have the same issues when they are flying longer.

The airlines should halt lights. They have been losing money flying here for more than 12 months despite the freight. Pull out the capacity - see freight, mail, exports etc suffer. That is the only way the country is going to learn thier lesson. Flights are not the cause of these outbreaks

It is easier for governments around the world to ban things, rather than working towards solutions. If the vaccine is mandatory, fine - but the govt needs to roll out a system for it to happen and be recorded. If it is testing at the airports, work on that (other countries are doing it). It won't happen - a delivery is a moving flight and can change very frequently in the last week. All sorts of things can go wrong and they also want to get the aircraft to Australia as soon as possible to do pre-service modifications so it can go into service.
