How to get Marriott Gold Elite status from just one hotel stay
May 12, 2017, 08:15 AMAfter getting Gold, can you book through a third website such as Hotels.com to receive all the benefits? Or do you have to book with the hotels directly?

Jun 02, 2015, 06:00 AMI thought it was dated for Emirates too, until I flew with them 3 times in first class. It actually feels really nice, maybe not exactly modern, but definitely luxurious.

I've booked myself in first class using points on Emirates, Brisbane to Dubai via Singapore on B777, and Dubai to London on A380, is it much better or marginally better in all areas than the A38...

Would I get lounge access for Qantas operated segments (Syd<-->Singapore), although they are not QF coded? And what about Jet Airways operated segments?
