Gold Coast could have tapped into regional NSW (Byron, Lismore, etc). Whether they fly down to Sydney and connect on a flight or go up to Brisbane on land is almost the same thing. The Gold Coast flight could have captured that traffic instead.

With the fares they charge to Europe that biz class looks like a steal compared to the likes of BA/CX/EK/QF who consistently value their products much higher than their worth.

Once upon a time even 32" was something we'd coigh and splutter at and now all of a sudden we are praising the 'additional' space... while SQ standardly has 32"+ on theirs and doesn't need to increase their space...

Greyhound has very frequent services and it's probably about US$40 for a one way trip. The town car even if it's about US$300 is still cheaper than the direct one way fare on United. They have the monopoly on direct flights so charge a fortune for it! greyhound honestly isn't bad at al...
