Accor will add its first Hong Kong property to its collection of high-end boutique hotels, MGallery by Sofitel, with the opening of The Silveri Hong Kong - MGallery towards the end of 2019.
Situated near its sister Novotel within the Citygate mixed-use complex in Tung Chung, The Silveri Hong Kong will be most attractive to international travellers with a long layover or early flight from Hong Kong International Airport. Both the airport and the AsiaWorld-Expo convention centre are an easy five-minute drive away.
Tung Chung is a destination in itself, offering easy links to Lantau Island's best-known attractions such as The Big Buddha, Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car and Hong Kong Disneyland. The property is also conveniently atop Tung Chung MTR Station, with journeys to Central Station in under half an hour.
The Silveri Hong Kong will have 206 guestrooms and suites. A number of these rooms with have outdoor terraces and jacuzzis, whilst a selection of suites will feature plunge pools as well.
Many rooms will offer guests expansive views of the green hills of Lantau.
As expected in a hotel of this calibre, there are many dining and relaxation options.
The Enclave is a modern bistro and the hotel's all-day restaurant, The Pavilion is a cocktail bar and Fresh is a deli with a focus on light bites.
Business travellers can get work done and relax in the Executive Lounge which sits on the top floor, then break a sweat at the fully-equipped gym and 25-metre outdoor pool.
The Silveri Hong Kong - MGallery by Sofitel is part of the AccorHotel's Le Club loyalty scheme (soon to be renamed ALL), meaning points can be earned and redeemed for stays.
Elite status members will be able to utilise their perks, including space-available room upgrades and late check-outs. Currently, Platinum members enjoy complimentary access to the Executive Lounge regardless of room type, while Gold members will need to rely on an upgrade to an Executive Room to achieve the same.
