Air France shines a spotlight on beauty treatments

In airport lounges and above the clouds, Air France is putting the spotlight on beauty treatments for business and first class flyers.

An exclusive partnership with luxury beauty and skincare specialist La Prairie has seen the opening of a chic new spa at Air France’s New York-JFK Terminal 1 lounge.

Business class passengers, and Platinum and Gold members of the Air France-KLM Flying Blue rewards program, can book a complimentary 20-minute Art of Illumination or Art of Indulgence facials from La Prairie beauty care professionals, with a 30-minute Art of Rejuvenation session reserved for travellers booked in La Première first class.

The La Prairie beauty treatment centre is equipped with two private booths with massage tables.

Air France has also debuted a new ‘comfort kit’ in its La Première first class cabin.

Available in two colours – cool Iced Mocha and elegant French Grey – the designer kit boasts an imitation leather finish with magnetic fasteners...

... and contains a range of Carita facial and body care treatments including moisturising and regenerating cream, eye care and lip cream and a hand serum.

Carita also supplies cabin amenities such as a make-up remover for the face, eyes and lips; a hydro-energising mist lotion; an ultra-nourishing oil for the face, body and hair; and a moisturising body treatment.
