Air New Zealand boosts flights to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver

IN BRIEF | Air New Zealand is ramping up its flights from Auckland to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Vancouver from April 2013.

The Auckland – San Francisco flight will step up to from five times per week to become a daily service.

Auckland to Los Angeles will begin twice daily flights from April, compared with 12 flights per week at the same time this year. Air New Zealand will continue to operate a third Los Angeles flight one day a week in peak demand periods around the July and October school holidays.

The Auckland to Vancouver route will also see a significant boost in capacity with three return services per week in off peak periods (compared to the previous two returns per week). Air New Zealand will operate five times a week over peak demand times from mid December to the end of February.

This isn't that big of a deal. Air NZ had daily flights to SFO then reduced it to six per week then reduced it to five. Increasing again to daily.

Most days see double daily LAX flights.

One extra service to YVR?

This is just capacity changes. They can't say they're "boosting" services when they were reduced to begin with.

ANZ s logo is so unique ,looks good, anywho its great
