Brisbane Airport releases free Android app

Brisbane Airport's new Android app is now ready for free download from the Google Play app store.

Just like its iPhone sibling, the Android app helps you look up information for flight arrivals and departures; track specific flights with alerts on boarding and gates changes; book parking for your trip and find your way around the airport.

The personalised 'My Trip' feature partners your flight information with details of where you parked at the terminal.

Brisbane is only Australia's second airport to offer an Android app, following in the footsteps of Sydney Airport.

Qantas also offers a feature-packed Android app, although Virgin Australia's app is less fully-featured and focuses more on finding flight specials.
