Can Qantas Club members use Cathay Pacific airport lounges?

Can Qantas Club members use Cathay Pacific airport lounges?

I'm a Qantas Club member, can I access Cathay Pacific airport lounges?

Unfortunately not.

Qantas Club membership only provides access to Qantas lounges, except for some specific airports where the lounge is run by another airline or a private lounge operator (such as the Emirates business lounge in Dubai and the CIP Louis Tavern Lounge at Bangkok).

Your Qantas Club card will however provide access to the Oneworld business class lounge at Los Angeles, which is operated by Qantas and shared by Qantas, Cathay Pacific and British Airways.

As an alternative, if you're travelling with a Gold or Platinum member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, they have 'guest rights' to bring a guest on the same flight into a Cathay Pacific lounge (or indeed the lounge of any other Oneworld member airlines, including British Airways, JAL, Malaysia Airlines and Qatar Airways).

CX lounge in SFO has been consistently turning away QF Platinums and other OWE holders.
