Citadines opens two new Hong Kong residence hotels

Travellers to Hong Kong can now stay at two new residence-like hotels with the opening of the new Citadines Harbourview Hong Kong hotel and the Citadines Mercer Hong Kong.

With 52 units, the Harbourview property sits in the city’s Sai Ying Pun district – just two MTR stops away from Central Station on Hong Kong Island – and of course, offers views out over the water.

Designed to mimic a home environment, all apartments offer a spacious living area, a fully-equipped kitchen, a home entertainment system and complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel.

As with many Hong Kong hotels, guests will also be issued with a ‘Handy’ smartphone, providing unlimited mobile data as you’re out and about, unlimited local calls and international calls to 10 selected countries (excluding Australia).

Joining that, a 24-hour fitness centre, a rooftop relaxation terrace and on-site laundry facilities – but for an on-site pool, look to the brand’s new 55-unit Citadines Mercer property.

Located in Shueng Wan, guests are just one stop from Central, a five-minute walk to the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal and 10 minutes from the International Finance Centre, guests are also well-placed whether travelling on business or leisure.
