Does anyone have advice on a wired keyboard (or any keyboard) for an iPad that can be used in-flight?

Hi Rachel, I have the Logitech Bluetooth key board. It's thin, has a nice place to slot your iPad in and clips onto the iPad when you put it away. Easy to setup and very long battery life. Highly recommend it.

Rachel, I also have the Logitech bluetooth keyboard and agree with SCF, it is excellent. Highly recommended.

Maybe her question was referring to the fact that technically the airlines say you can't have wifi and bluetooth enabled during the flight.

For what its worth - just leave it on, no one will know and you're not affecting anything. I don't turn wifi, bluetooth, 3g, etc off, and there is no need to.

Thank you both. Yes, I was referring to the 'technically' side of things. That said, having found the following on the Qantas website, it seems Bluetooth is fine:

"Portable electronic equipment such as laptop computers (including WiFi and Bluetooth enabled devices), PDAs (without mobile phones), personal music (for example, iPods) iPads, Ebooks and electronic game devices may be used when the aircraft seat belt sign is extinguished after take-off and can now be used until we prepare the cabin for landing."

Hello Rachel, I use (like some people above) the Logitech Keyboard. It is very convinient and good. You can purchase them from the Apple Online Store, Apple or Apple-Authorised store. They would be the places I would trust because there are some dodgy ones out there. Good luck!
