Stupid question I am asking but is the credit due to a fight cancellation?
I am under the impression that the ACCC expect a refund option to be available if cancelled flights booked on Australian platform. That how they managed to force QF to reverse their COVID flight credit for cancelled flights to backtrack into offering refund option. Maybe you should talk to Ombudsman or ACCC if this credit is from cancelled flights and you didn’t choose to accept the credit option.
Otherwise I suspect the only way is to do the booking via call centre which obviously may be an issue as you may have to hand over your cc details to complete the payment
Sorry just wanted to make sure you had consider getting the cash if that is ever an option

Can anyone provide help on using a credit with American Airlines?
Booked on the Australian site for American and received an email saying I had a credit.
The Australian site doesn't allow credits to be added while the American site says I need to select an alternative payment.
Just frustrating with a One World airline being so poor in digital experience.
