It really depends on where you are leaving from ,Qantas has more lounges,and has a buisiness class lounge in the main city's ,I personally prefer Qantas.hope this helps

Again depends on the city of departure, but my opinion is Virgin has a better hard product eg seats, excluding the lounge and Qantas has a better soft product eg well trained staff and a better network of lounges. And take note of your FF program.
