For First class I'd go with a middle pair at the back of the cabin (3E and 3F). You will be together and not directly looking into the window seats as they are staggered (middle pair is located in between window seat rows 3 and 4). You will not have too much traffic as shower rooms are in the front. Galley is located behind you but you will not be bothered by light or noise. I have not flown Business with Emirates so would not be able to pick best seats.

Yes. Trip reports on Flyertalk indicate showers do indeed operate Trans-Tasman.

Thrilled to hear this as I'm flying Auckland to Sydney in December in EK F.

Can you book when you like once on board?

If you want seats together go for seats 7E &F in business.  Very near the front and means you get off the plane quicker.  Downside its a hike back to where the toilets/bar is.

Hi Ben84, Yes you let them know once on board that you would like to use the shower and it will be sorted for you. You can also make use of the chauffeur drive when in first class from Auckland to Sydney.

Thanks. Already booked the car service on the EK website. The cabin is only showing 3 seats taken. Is it normal for he cabin to be underpopulated, or does it fill up by flying day?
