"Soft Landing" from QFF Gold to Silver, but with surprising status listed on my online account "Qantas Club Silver", which is odd as I never have paid anything to join the Qantas C

"Soft Landing" from QFF Gold to Silver, but with surprising status listed on my online account "Qantas Club Silver", which is odd as I never have paid anything to join the Qantas Club.

Anyone else got experience in this? Will it be honoured by the relevant QF and EK lounges?

Also, my Gold card expired the day my status did, but I haven't received any new card. Can I use an expired card if the status listed on it is no longer the case?

Will EK be able to see that I have "Qantas Club" listed on my profile?

Qantas Club Silver means they have granted you (usually about) 3 months of Qantas Club access as a goodwill. Thats what i had from Gold to Silver.

Qantas usually send 2 new QFF cards - one for the qantas club with validity for about 3 months or so, then also a new silver card for the full year.

Enjoy...
