Nope! All A330 as of a couple of weeks ago.

thanks, when looking to book it is still showing as 747-400. If it's now the A330, are these the updated one's yet?

None of the a330s have been updated yet. Qantas claims they will have the first reconfigured one in service around October.

If it shows as a 744, check the config. Generally speaking, if QF 51 is a 744, it seems to be formed by the same aircraft as QF 16 (inbound LAX), and so generally as a reconfigured 3-class 744 with fully-flat J.

yes but only for the june july holidays and when you look at chosing seats in row five of j class there should be only one seat on the windows

Correct Ollie whereas the non-refurbs don't even have a row 5!

There must be quite a demand for Singapore because Qantas are  running a couple of Perth-Singapore-Perth flights too during the school holidays.

Thanks guys. So this is for dates in late July that it's still showing the 747. I suppose if the nose of the cabin or Zone A shows only 3 rows of business class then it's a reconfigured aircraft.

Perhaps they'll run a couple of sneaky 747s in peak times?

It,s Qantas... they will probably elimate the service to Asia not just QF51/52.Out sorce it to Jet conect and call and eliminate all Asia flights.Add an extra flights to LA out of SYD or BNE or to DFW any flight to US makes more money than any sector to Asia. They need to do it now not screw around with un profitable rootes.
