I have a quick jaunt from Sydney down to Melbourne next week and am flying Virgin's 737 Business. I usually don't do business for short hops, so I'm not sure whether to expect lunch or not onboard (Flight is at 2pm).

The Virgin Australia website is a little unclear as to what you receive depending on the time of day. Anyone had any experience with VA Business short haul around that time of day?

Cheers

At that time of day, in my experience, you only get a small snack of sorts with a drink of your choice. E.g. a 'gourmet' sausage roll by Luke Mangan, or a small charcuterie board. Best to have something more substantial at the VA Lounge and take the better option of whatever they're serving (for example... take the charcuterie board over the sausage roll!!)

I agree with you about the better food option. Is It me or does Luke Mangan not even read Cosmo. The reason why I ask is in one of the magazines they compared fat levels in certain foods One Sausage Roll is in terms of grams of fat the same as 11 or 12 Nori Sushi Rolls.
